I don't have a massive holding in BEM and at current SP, would love to top up to reduce my average. But this investment, comes with such a binary decision for its success, that I am happy to
rely on other investments to get me to my first million.

Biggs - the point being that after the first overspend, a good management team would have been on top of the spending from the off.

BIGGS - Foo had form on well drill overspend. LA105 and 106 came in at approx double the budget. Then 7 years or so the budget was again overspent by more than double but this time the budget had already doubled.
They were initially targeting around 8 scuffs with a view to 44 scuffs with power. When you think that all this was financed with a number of placings (read dilution), and yet here we are 10 years later at well under the initial 8 mscuff target, it's absolutely shocking.

I crossed swords with Viginere a few times and don't think he was that fond of me. But fair play to him, he was right about piling into JLP shares a year or two back.
Matched my bmr holding with same number of jlp shares at 2.85p to spread the risk. Now sitting on £8.5k profit to offset against some of my bmr losses.

By comparison there is a vile individual on the BEM board who contributes nothing to the debate but viciously attacks other posters and uses foul and abusive language to said posters, yet admin don't appear concerned.

Eric , it's a pity there is so little going on in bem at present that would otherwise give us something else to talk about. Each to their own but I feel best if we don't give him a platform.

I fear we are all victims of past dilutions. With 2.1 billion shares in issue it's very easy for traders to take advantage of good news stories.
I wonder if now that we are stable, profitable and expanding, it might be a good time for a 10 for 1 consolidation
