No double your money at the next " recovery point" i.e. Within a couple of months. More than likely we will see several dips and recoveries from now until Christmas. SIG has more or less bottomed out at worst 15p. It is other stocks like Stagecoach that never got lower than 50p yet the Government is saying no to public transport, how do you " social distance" on buses?

Hope you are right, however, I get the feeling the Dow will take a hammering next week and UK stocks will fall in sympathy.

However, Trump and the Fed have done what needs to be done to guaranteed there won't be a depression, as opposed to a recession, at the expense of a " lost decade" which is not on balance too bad. Yes we will see SP's hit new lows, but for SIG I can't see it going much lower.

All I did was post on a subject based on articles that are flying around in the US, I did not say the Dow was going to fall by that number. A simple a Google search will show some speculators in the US feel it is so wildly overvalued. My personal opinion is it could fall 30%.

Even Withou the "Coronavirus inspired recession" we are going to have, this stock was headed to 50p based on " the Brexit inspired" slowdown we were going ho have anyway.
The bottom line is the SP was always going to be " prosecuted" for overpaying for Wagamam, but will now also face the effect of a Global Recession and Brexit outfall in which people reduce the number of visits they make to eat out. Even Weatherspoons will be hit by the Recession and Brexit.

Thomas Cook was a " 16 bagger" from 10p to £1.60. How low will this go? I saw this at 20p and thought to myself, "they can't have another Rights Issue because they have already had one and there are no benefits of having one" in other words the broad consensus is they overpaid for Wagamama. So I stayed out of it and it hit 60p, that tells me the people who matter, the Institutions see it having a future post placing. This can only mean it will once again hit 60p, but from what low? Personally, I wouldn't touch this above 20p, but the MM's could take this to 10p.

Thanks for being honest. The reason why I suggest 50p is because we are headed for huge falls on the Dow and we have to appreciate even the chancellor has accepted really bad days await.
We must appreciate the world markets will remain depressed and emerging markets including China will be hit hard. The UK is borrowing short term at silly rates, the BOE is paying in directly, that can never be a good thing. Spending will fall and quite simply the recovery in this stock should have been from 72p to at least £1.50. Some stocks have trebled and even quadrupled from March and they haven't really fallen back since.
If Dow futures fall when they open late tomorrow, we could see this below 90p and from now until the US economy begins to open properly, the DOW could drop below 20000, where will that take Melrose? Even without Covid 19 we were looking at a "Brexit inspired" slowdown.

Not often wrong. I'm not against investing in Capita and I will be doing exactly that, but not this price. I fully expect this to reach a new low below 20p and then it will over the next 12 months return to current levels. It is a mixture of debt and slowdown.

If this was not going to fall further, it would be closer to £1.50. As we are seeing the DOW is way overvalued and some say it could drop some 40%, the FTSE will fall in sympothhy and that is why I feel 50p is on its way.

This will become very volatile. I can see this going sub 20p within a couple of weeks.

Further to the posts regarding the Dow, all we can say is that it is wildly overvalued, bearing in mind the US is on course for a long deep recession with unemployment not getting better for a long time. Today's' falls are not profit taking, but a reality check for all including Lloyds.
Quite simply the March lows we saw will be revisited as early as this month and we will not see recoveries for all the market, but just the companies that can weather the storm.
I feel 27p is the price lloyds will recover to from a new low sub 20p.
