Prior to the Coronavirus, I think the SP a couple of years ago fell below 90p?

Cannot believe the AA being the iconic brand it is in so much trouble one would think it is too big to fail. Centrica is similar and soon the two will be " united in SP and outlook" Infeel the SP will hit 15p, but double at some point.

Where will that take the SP and what would be a recovery SP? I suspect a drop below 20p and a recovery to 25p with it bobbing up and down between 22p and 28p for a long while.

There are arguments to suggest the SP will rise and arguments that suggest it may not get over 30p. However, there is no doubt that the SP cannot remain too low for too long as it is a takeover target. Like I keep saying It will be an opportunilty to increase a stake in SIG at depressed levels.

There is something about this share which we simply do not understand. It has not recovered despite the fact it will be returning to a reasonable degree of normality soon.
Some companies like Cineworld have come within 25% of the pre Coronavirus level, but are still closed. Other companies like the Bus companies quickly recovered, despite being effectively closed and they face huge challenges. I am concerned this ever went to 15p and should really be 40p. I know it will recover though, could be 40p within a couple of weeks.

Like I said 20p, why pay 60p when you can sell at 60p?

Think SIG is too specialised and that comparism is too much of a long shot. Find it difficult to see Kingfisher attempting to venture out so much when they have a battle on their hands with a slowdown coming.

Not sure who big suitor could be if there is one. My thoughts are if IKO build upto 29.9% this could all be done below the price paid earlier this year. It would take the SP upto something more comparable to what they paid earlier. The seat on the board would be vey benificial to them in steering the company in the right direction. If they had bid for this company this time last year the takeover price may have been closer to £2. On that bSis getting the company for £1 a share would be considered shrewd.

Means the company will struggle for a while, but will recover. To that end see a big drop in the SP from now until autumn, but a recovery later. In March this fell to 50p yet First Group fell to 25p, now this time expect both of these to fall to 25p ish.

Takenonrisk. That is why I have suggested they will build upto 29.9% and pick their time for a full bid in the future. Hope I'm wrong but if there is anyone out there other than IKO we would have known about it by now. Obviously building up fully means a seat on the board for IKO and that way they can start to have an impact on the direction.

The SP would increase in the buying ''process'' to 29.9% that could take a while or could be done quickly depending on who they get on their side. We cannot even rule out an announcement of a rejected bid with the results.

Can see a similar surge in the SP if IKO build up a 29.9% stake.

Ian.B as I just said in my post a rejected bid is often as powerful for the SP as an accepted bid. It would be blocked on the basis " it significantly undervalues the company" however, I would sell at 50pnand run, accepting 12 months later the SP may be +80p.

Agree a full bid looks more likely, but if a cheeky bid is rejected it will still cause SP to rocket.

But did you not read the ROlls Royce story? Things are going downhill, these shares will be available at a lot less than the current SP. They have already been at 45p before, each to their own, but I see these a lot below 45p soon.
