We should see 40-50p this year. Remember stock markets are forward thinking and what we saw today is a ''one off'' it does not mean to say this is now the norm. Yes it may rise to 40p and fall back to 20p if there are more lockdowns. Once vaccinations are announced, not started the SP will then feel the worst is over. Remember the stock markets allowed leisure stocks to double or triple whilst being closed!!

Looking at the DOW tonight. Fingers crossed with even flat results we should make some ground, anything better, who knows?

If Covid 19 did not exist, the SP was headed to 50p anyway because the markets are always ''looking for a boogeyman'' and they would have found one in the debt Marstons has had for a while. This would have taken it down to 50p, however, if the Carlsberg deal had been done at that time, we would have seen £1 quite quickly. In the current environment, I see 50p as the recovery rice to go to from a low of about 25p. This ''recovery'' will only come about with a decent vaccine.

Quite simply, as we saw in the March crash, when the Dow crashes or moderates, all other stocks fall in sympathy. It is widely accepted that the DOW is overvalued and earnings cannot support the SP's of many stocks. The Fed is ''propping up'' the market by buying corporate bonds, this is not sustainable. We could see Biden win the election and he may not be as aggressive in this buying process. If Stagecoach is 30p when the US markets fall, it will end up at 20p.

expect to see a bit of a rise before the next fall and we will be in the 20's at the next big fall on the overvalued Dow.

In the sense we know the early vaccines will be pants and offer 6 months protection at best. Not all people will want the vaccine, they will wait and see if therevare any side effects. At best most of country will be vaccinated by summer 2021.

The bottom line is all vaccines being currently tested will only provide limited protection and will not be part of mass vaccination programmes until mid 2021. Some people will not get vaccinated, this means we will struggle until beyond next summer, I can see the SP hit 25p before hitting 50p.

Too many variables to consider, what would overide all positive news would be the start of a due, sustained and substantial DOW Jones correction. In other words, SIG even with good news, may find itself in the wrong place at the wrong time.
