If anybody thinks that open offer entitlements will cause forward selling pressure then think again

Where an open offer differs from a rights issue is that you don't have the option to sell your rights in the market. And if you do nothing, unlike a rights issue you won't receive a lapsed payment.

So if any of the existing shareholders were in the subscription they wouldn't be included in the open offer figures so if IP Group were subscribed already that would take the 250 million open offer shares below 180 million
And pro-rata for the other so called shareholders that have subscribed to the placing
However the rns stated that 250+ million open offer shares will be available thus giving me the impression that no other existing shareholders have subscribed if I'm right on this MW has just put his neck in the rope he got handed with a brown envelope

We could see all sorts of scenarios
The most interesting one could be if any of the new so called professional investors forward sell some shares and then have to buy them back after a no vote
I'm really looking forward to watching this play out just going to set my 1.5 limit sell everyday so no one can touch my shares

Hi penny some major platforms just short the minute you buy to cover the bet you make so shortracker etc are useless really IMO

I've taken similar positions in a few companies like this this year rmm prsm tgp (these were serious value prospects especially at the lows based on my own spreadsheet calcs) where I went further than normal on the way down I've then top sliced my top ups on the way back up only done this once on dmtr bought 400k at 1.19 and sold for 1.30ish I was looking at doing exactly the same here so probably would of made my trading target at 1.5 and may of been out then
Whats got me determined to see it through here is I made a bit in hurr then the bondholders tried to take over 95%of the company through the back door with the help of the BOD the share price tripled when the bondholders and BOD lost the vote and case I feel a similar situation is happening here
I love the products here especially the glassware (I wish they had the same thing in creating cooking recipes) I think the majority shareholders will get rid of the BOD and take this to the next stage which it has already taken some great steps towards with a more commercially adept team
Target is last years placement price of 1.5 as dmtr is in a much better commercial position than then contract and customer wise

I believe if everyone did the same thing all that would be left is the miniscule amount MMs have on their books and once they're gone they would have to keep upping the bid until they reach us if anyone uses ig or sim platforms they can defo use your shares but not if you have a high limit sell order but please research this yourself seen it happen on a few BB and with the gamestop reddit thing at the beginning of this year

In a serious battle against evil goings on here but only a sixth now of pf if it goes down to .1 then it will only wipe out what I made this year but could be a big learning lesson for me with the vote etc.. so going to see it through

got up to exactly 7.4 million shares today if I end up with 9.4 million after the open offer they'll owe me .0.55 but at least my vote no will count for more than the BOD
