SCoutS I remember well your very similar accusations on the AEG board. At best it is paranoia, at worst you are a horrible person who does horrible things. Somewhere in the middle is the possibility that you are in fact the sort of paid stooge that you constantly accuse everyone else of being. I got so fed up with you over at AEG. What a bitter existence you must lead. You probably don't remember our conversations but please feel free (as should any other interested party) to look back at my postings where I quote your own from that time. Won't take long to find them as I don't post a ton.

I said at that time, that any investor considering buying or selling this stock who finds themselves swayed by your ranting will surely look back at the posting history of someone as opinionated and accusatory as yourself so ultimately, I can't really see how you would actually have any negative effect on the share price so in reality, you just sit there wasting your time all day, every single day. What fun you must have.

I've seen few people asking about margins today. From this morning's RNS, in case it's helpful:

"Group gross margin continued to improve and increased to 64% in 2019 from 63% in 2018
Continues a trend of increased gross margin every year since 2014.

Improvement due to the exit from the lower margin Clinical Lab business and Primerdesign increasing its share of Group revenue to 48% (2018: 45%).

Primerdesign’s strong gross margin increased to 85% (2018: 84%).

- Which raises a question from me: Primerdesign margin for 2019 was 85%. Can anyone more experienced than me offer thoughts on likely margin for the COVID-19 test (being one part of the Primerdesign business)?

I would also add, you say I "advised" only selling on a 10x rise? Read again. And try being less sceptical. :)

Mine was purely a confessional. I sold at a loss then bought the same stock back 24hrs later at 2.5x the price! And I wanted a public record of it, to shame myself into never being so stupid again. Every bit of it is idiotic. How is it either a ramp or de-ramp? And only the insane would attempt both at the same time!

Deciding not to touch it unless (not until!) it gains 10x is my way of punishing myself for such reckless behaviour. Lock the capital up as a reminder of my stupidity.

My point was: I chucked all my hard learnt lessons out of the window and broke all the fundamental rules of investing in one fell swoop! I think most reasonably minded people would read it as such. People like to hear of others' misfortune. :)

In the beginning, I bought rubbish stocks, watched them tank, then sold at heavy losses.

Eventually, I began to buy better stocks, but got freaked out by small drops and sold for smaller losses. Only to watch those stocks go on to make great gains.

Later, I bought good stocks, then sold for 15% gains because I was afraid of losing those. Only to watch those stocks go on to make great gains...

More recently, I bought good stocks and made good enough gains to be able to top-slice.

Even more recently, I've bought good stocks and been confident enough to average up as fundamentals have driven them higher. Yay.

Yesterday, I regressed. I had purchased a very modest holding in LSAI about a month ago. £400 at .47. Around midday yesterday, I got bored and ****y and decided that I could use that money better elsewhere. I sold at .43.

Barely an hour later, the rise began. "No, no, no" I thought to myself. This happens in AIM from time to time. Put it down to bad luck/timing and move on. But of course I kept watching and the FOMO kept building. It built into this morning until I put £480 back in at 1.13!!

To punish myself for this madness, I have set myself a 10x limit: I will only consider selling if the stock rises tenfold from there. If the opposite happens and the company winds up or some other eventuality prevails that renders my investment effectively worthless, I will get my one and only tattoo. It will say "LSAI". It will be small, but somewhere very painful so the memory of that pain always serves as a reminder to never again disregard everything I have learnt and make such fundamental errors as these!!!

In reply to bespooked - not sure if never having sold a share is an accolade. I sold my holding at a 300% loss! Such was the lack of confidence inspiring information and determined downward trajectory at the time. I thought the money could be put to better use elsewhere for a time and thankfully (and of course somewhat luckily) I was right.

More recently bought my holding back as I believe we are in a more tangibly positive position now.

I find this one interesting: "Executives & managers are not familiar with modern software development practices."

I work for an open source software company and often wonder if it's a model that SEE could adopt.. great importance is attached to the data gathered through Fleet and the advantageous position that gives us against out competitors. But there is also the software/applications that run the DMS. Maybe open sourcing that could help to increase awareness and drive innovation, while retaining our data allows SEE to continue to hold its competitive edge?

Software development practices like Agile and DevOps are not exclusive to an open source model though. And any company not embracing this "new way" is putting itself at risk of being out-manouvered by competition who are quicker to adapt and evolve.

Anyone watching this bulletin board, who feels themselves influenced by anything anyone says in here, I implore you, ignore it. If you can't then take some time to go way back and get a feel for the style of regular posters.

As a general rule of thumb, wherever you see drama, sardonic smiley faces, self-righteous piety, any declaration of "so and so is a [enter nursery rhyme character]", then you would do well to ignore.

Deal only in facts, where you find them. That will almost always be *not here*! Rampers/de-rampers prey on the uninformed and the innocent. Do yourself a favour and educate yourself. Make your own decisions.

And just to tackle you again, where you throw "truthfulness" back at me. Below is where I talk about the stock. I'm confident that any reasonable minded person could read this and only conclude that this is fair, balanced commentary. As I've said before, I take no sides. I make no representations.

"I personally have no expectations for short term SP return (profit). I just want in before we announce progress. We could get a great surprise, in which case I could miss it. I'm just trying my best to balance my opportunities.

Progress which *it seems* we can rely on:
-- Plant assembly at Lumberton complete.
-- Plant producing something, measurable.

Progress which *I suspect* will see some SP movement, if/when it happens:
-- Confirmation of feedstock contracts (Georgia Renewable Power? We have only had suggestion so far. Who else?).
-- Offtake agreement/s in place.
-- Increased production (>5t ph. Stated to be achieved via parallel running plants).

That's the real high level view and the really important stuff.

One comment on plant. As I remember it, the existing plant was a bit of a surprise? Can anyone remember any updates between "we will build a plant" and "look at our working plant"?

I don't know if we need lots more PR. Investor confidence is shot to pieces. In this climate, maybe better to quietly apply oneself to the business of building, than go around talking about what you will do in the future?

We need *material* progress updates only.

I'm no expert, so I may be missing, or misunderstanding things. It's just my opinion based on the facts as I see them.

I think we would do well on this board to look further forward. Maybe someone more experienced and knowledgeable than me could share some maths around potential market cap and time to profit *based on what we know today*, to form an attempt at forecasting medium term growth?

Unless we are being taken for a big ride (I am open to all possibilities), the potential here is clearer now. To make that more tangible for us all, who can show us a well researched and reasoned roadmap to success?"

In the spirit of my thread title (Children), maybe the old adage "He who smelt it, dealt it", might be appropriate?

Seeing as you, also, accuse me of being many people, here are some earlier comments of mine which the odd not very worldly observer might find comforting (thread title "Children"):

bottom_feeder, you seem to think that the majority of people are naive and easily led. I'm not sure what your life experience is, but I can tell you this is not the case. Almost anyone seeking to learn something from reading a board like this, before getting into a stock, will read back some distance. Almost anyone will be able to clearly read through your seemingly delusional (or downright nasty) stories. I don't know why you bother, so persistent. You accuse others of being paid. ...."Stooges". One only has to take a view of who is most opinionated, most prolific and most abusive, to decide who is most likely not a true player.

Yes, partnership/s to come. I am definitely excited now. Most promising position we've been in since I originally invested around 3yrs ago.

People are calling the up to 800k per annum an offtake / take off agreement. It's feedstock, required to make Coalswitch. Which is excellent. But it's not an agreement to supply CS to anyone. Important to be clear.
