I suspect Sounds' comment "timescales for a return sound about right", was with reference to my return to a meaningful (to me) stake AEG. Not financial return (SP growth).

I said "I want to get back in over the next month or so, I think that's a relatively safe timeframe to be targeting."

I personally have no expectations for short term SP return (profit). I just want in before we announce progress. We could get a great surprise, in which case I could miss it. I'm just trying my best to balance my opportunities.

Progress which *it seems* we can rely on:
-- Plant assembly at Lumberton complete.
-- Plant producing something, measurable.

Progress which *I suspect* will see some SP movement, if/when it happens:
-- Confirmation of feedstock contracts (Georgia Renewable Power? We have only had suggestion so far. Who else?).
-- Offtake agreement/s in place.
-- Increased production (>5t ph. Stated to be achieved via parallel running plants).

That's the real high level view and the really important stuff.

One comment on plant. As I remember it, the existing plant was a bit of a surprise? Can anyone remember any updates between "we will build a plant" and "look at our working plant"?

I don't know if we need lots more PR. Investor confidence is shot to pieces. In this climate, maybe better to quietly apply oneself to the business of building, than go around talking about what you will do in the future?

We need *material* progress updates only.

I'm no expert, so I may be missing, or misunderstanding things. It's just my opinion based on the facts as I see them.

I think we would do well on this board to look further forward. Maybe someone more experienced and knowledgeable than me could share some maths around potential market cap and time to profit *based on what we know today*, to form an attempt at forecasting medium term growth?

Unless we are being taken for a big ride (I am open to all possibilities), the potential here is clearer now. To make that more tangible for us all, who can show us a well researched and reasoned roadmap to success?

I am no trader. I made a significant investment, averaged to around 2.5p. I pulled out based on perceived risk and rock bottom confidence, the like of which you outline in your post. 80% loss. Hardly a trader. A novice investor, who felt he had a chance of rebuilding in other stocks. Doing okay there, and looking to enter here again on the more recent positive progress.

I agree with you entirely! Past performance has been very poor with many disappointments, but as I said in my last post, we have more material progress now than I have ever seen since I originally invested and I want to get back on board based on that. It's a great technology, we have premesis, plant and what looks like a valuable partnership. I am making a straightforward judgement based on what I see as the facts. Remember, I am Switzerland. I make no representations, I take no sides.

Call me what you like - it's only fair after I called you, Zoom, Nagy and whoever else has been engaging in this absurd tit for tat "children". You only reinforce that with your post though.

Fair comment. I just couldn't help myself. I've been resisting engaging for weeks but just got so fed up with people slagging each other off, the board represented everything bad about the internet. So I decided to slag them all off. Not very mature, I know. It was partly to hold up a mirror, partly entertainment for me on a day of long train rides.

I'm afraid my statement still stands: I don't really have anything to contribute. I will comment, however, even if it adds nothing.

The tech here is fundamentally brilliant. Can anyone else do it? I posted about a competitor a while back and nobody responded. I asked Spinks about it and he said "we are well aware", plus winky face.. I've not looked very far into their commercial position/viability, I will admit. But I will do so before I decide to reinvest here. Happy to re-share that company, if anyone is interested or would like to discuss.

The fact is, this is probably the most promising time in my history with this stock. I originally invested almost three years ago. It *looked* very promising then. But there is more to hang our confidence off now. Actual premises, plant and partnership. There was lots of talk back then about testing and proving the tech. But success with that didn't/doesn't automatically create a viable commercial model. Now we have that opportunity. We are only laying the foundations. But at least we are laying the foundations...

I dearly hope this board can drag itself out of the gutter (in terms if the type of interaction). I may find that I want to post more if the quality of discussion can improve. Part of the reason I haven't historically, is that I've had an incredibly busy life these past few years. Fingers crossed, things are calming down a bit and I'll have a little more time now.

Onwards and upwards, friends. Let's try to have a happy and I intellectually stimulating AEG board. I do believe the company deserves it.

It's Friday night and I'm feeling sociable. As someone who works in software and enjoys gaming, I can absolutely see the potential in this.

I think the model is inevitable and the BIDS commercial, technology and community approaches all entirely relevant. Any software developers out there, I'b be interested to know your thoughts on the Bidstack API and SDK. Could it be better, or different? I believe it is proprietary. Does anyone see any benefits in open sourcing this?

I almost never post, but follow boards for five stocks that I hold, or watch. Since I've been spurred on by a delightful conversation on another board today, I thought I'd pop in here to say hi.

I hold a modest stake here, bought at 3.3p. I previously bought around 5p and was fortunate in making some profit on the ride into the teens.

This is a nice board, with some good discussion. Thank you to you all for keeping me fed. I've never felt that I had anything to contribute (this hasn't changed today! ;)) but I hope to one day. :)

YinYang, your handle is aptly chosen. For those of us of a naturally adversarial bent you are food, oxygen and sunlight. LSE boards would be duller places without you, as I have learnt on another board today.

People say "don't feed the trolls". I say, let's set up a commune. You are here and it's a free world (partly). We should all relish in argument, nurture it, grow it, share it. I like the Middle English etymology ‘process of reasoning’ (tx google).

But I must stress, the food should be at minimum palatable. Playful is okay, as we can work with that. A jous, or some foam maybe. But beware indigestion. I'm sure you prefer your fellow diners remain at the table. Otherwise, where's the fun? :)

I sold out at 80% loss to take a chance. Am trying to build it back up again elsewhere with some success and hope I can time a buy back in at sub 1p. We shall see. Worth a crack.

I don't know why any holder would post such childish and bitter drivel about and around their stock, no matter how bad the ride has been. Why not at least sell half and see if you can build it up again somewhere else, if you are so convinced you are being stuffed on this one.

Someone posted a link a while ago which said that grants would be honoured up to a date in 2020, regardless of whether brexit happened. It was some kind of EU web page so I think we are safe either way.

Can anyone more experienced than me make sense of the guys and sells this morning?

Looking at ADVFN reporting, every trade on NEX shows as a busy, and every trade on LSE shows as a sell.

Looking at the actual prices, they could go either way but I note the spread is different on NEX (.0065/.007 vs .006/.007).
