And free from PFAS which is fast becoming widely understood as a horrible group of chemicals. Firefighting foam seems to be the primary cause of groundwater contamination by PFAS. I wonder if Zenova fluid delivery scales to large fire applications..
just sharing some notes and research that i sent someone a little while ago, in case someone finds it useful. i hold around 700k shares - similar to our new joiner earlier today! except i have an average of around 3.5p..
boring but necessary. look at this. https://www.bellsandtwotones.co.uk/extinguishers
completely replacing traditional extinguishers. and then there's all the other products.
"in light of the introduction of the zenova fx500, featuring 6-litre and 9-litre capacities, we have made the strategic decision, effective february 2024, to discontinue the sale or rental of water, foam, and dry powder extinguishers.
the zenova extinguisher, with its versatile capabilities, is now positioned as a comprehensive solution suitable for all classes of fires. this decision is poised to simplify and economize productions across the board. by eliminating the need for multiple extinguisher types, the zenova fx series removes ambiguity in choosing the appropriate firefighting equipment. the singular solution not only streamlines operational logistics but also reduces the overall quantity of units required at each fire point."
- completely replace traditional, various fire extinguishers with *one extinguisher*
- massively more effective than traditional extinguishers
- completely extinguish lithium ion fires (squash "thermal runaway")!!
- better for humans and the environment than traditional powder and foam extinguishers
- fire ******ant paints
- eco paints...
- eco, fire ******ant render
- wildfire suppressant (cleaner than existing, more effective)
- sprinkler system (a single, local canister per sprinkler meaning no extensive plumbing etc) .. currently undergoing certs.
- most major certs are in place, covering multiple global markets. including the "at sea" cert.
what's not to like about revolutionising a decades old, ubiquitous technology? every business needs fire extinguishers, as a minimum. then look at the other faddy areas.... fire ******ant building materials... kill fewer people. eco paint/render... create happy vegans. etc etc.
RNS 10th May ([thermal] insulating paint)
"Zenova IP project with Liverpool John Moores University
Resulting in Lowering Fuel Bills, Lower Cost of Refurbishments and Improved Environmental Benefits
· Successful trial demonstrating Zenova IP just 1mm thickness applied moved the EPC rating from E to D
· Reducing heat energy consumption by over 25% thus lowering fuel bills
· Reduces U-value by 35%
· Reduces building CO2 carbon emissions by 19%
· SAP score improvement of 24 points from pretrial score of 121 to 97
Findings
All the results highlight the significant impact of the Zenova IP insulation performance.
The application of Zenova IP tackles cooling, heating costs and energy consumption; all of which can be reduced accordingly.
Zenova IP provides an economically viable solution particularly given the recent implementation of the requirement in the UK that all rented residential properties meet the minimum EPC standard of C or above by 2028. The penalty for not having a valid EPC will be raised from £5,000 to £30,000 in 2028."
RNS 16th June 2022 (thermal insulation paint and render)
"Testing Confirms Zenova Insulation Products Reduce Heat Build Up
Zenova Group PLC (AIM: ZED), a provider of innovative fire safety and heat management technology and products, is pleased to report that the results of a recent test confirmed the insulation qualities of its Zenova IP thermal insulation paint and Zenova IR thermal insulation render.
The test was carried out by a leading independent testing company, Intertek, in accordance with testing standard ASTM D4803 to confirm how Zenova IP thermal insulation paint and Zenova IR thermal insulation render reduces heat build-up on steel surfaces.
In real world situations, heat build-up relates to the amount of heat absorbed by a surface, which then increases the ambient air temperature around the material and on the material's reverse side. It is the reason why the temperature in uninsulated structures such as shipping containers and modular buildings can rise considerably when exposed to prolonged sunshine and hot external temperatures.
The test, which was carried out in laboratory conditions, found that:
· A 1.33mm coating of Zenova IP thermal insulation paint reduced the rise in ambient air temperature on the opposite side of a steel sheet by 54% compared to an untreated control sample
· A 5mm coating of Zenova IR thermal insulation render reduced the rise in ambient air temperature on the opposite side of a steel sheet by 55%, compared to an untreated control sample
The following diagram illustrates the test results in simple terms: http://www.rns-pdf.londonstockexchange.com/rns/0554P_1-2022-6-15.pdf "
@BigDom1, I appreciate there are MANY RNSs and it can be hard to spot what you are looking for at any given moment. I trawled back for you, I may have missed something but this is what I've found so far:
9th Oct RNS (FX fire extinguisher and sprinkler fluid)
"Zenova Group PLC (AIM: ZED) , the innovative fire suppression and interdiction solutions Company, is excited to announce that it has been informed by MPA Dresden institute, a European Union-recognised certification centre, that both the Company's Zenova FX fluid used in all of Zenova fire extinguishers as well as the 6 and 9 litre fire extinguishers have all successfully completed the battery of regulation EN3-7 tests required for European certification. The official test results confirmed 34A, 113B, 75F and E for the 6 litre and 43A, 183B, 75F and E for the 9 litre fire extinguisher.
The formal certificates are expected to be received by October month-end which will then allow Zenova to market its premier products to retail and industrial customers requiring the highest certifications.
In addition, the Company is likewise pleased that it has just received its inaugural order for its FX 6 litre fire extinguisher immediately upon this news.
Thomas Melchior, CEO of the Zenova Group, commented, "Passing EN3-7 certification for both our fluids and extinguishers, is clearly a major milestone in the Company's short history. The team have been working hard to create distinctive products in the marketplace and gaining EN3-7 certification is a crucial endorsement of that effort and further supports the Company's growing competitive advantage in the marketplace." RNS 30th August (Fire Protection paint)
"Zenova Group PLC (AIM: ZED), is pleased to announce a further major development in the certification process of the Company's products, as Zenova's FP fire protection, intumescent paint has successfully been fire tested by BRE. This latest certification will directly impact Zenova's efforts to supply the construction market for Zenova FP applications for fire protection on steel.
Zenova FP fire resistance tested
Indicative Fire Resistance Tests were performed by the independent testing house BRE using BS476-20 and BS476-21:1987 testing standards.
Tests were also carried out with Zenova FP intumescent coating applied to various loaded and unloaded I-section steel columns and fire resistance tests were performed in accordance with EN 13381-8:2013."

Naughty little UT at 3p. I hold a a decent chunk of this. Seller been quiet for a few weeks now. MMs gone fishing.
Question: Directors currently hold [undiluted] around 5% of the company each. Does anyone know what they paid for those shares?
King of shysters got shat on, effectively by himself. :)
The Earl of [has no] Shame
The Unfurl of AIM (I hope).
You are speaking to empty seats. The audience is somewhere else because they know the show you are touting is not the one on stage.
"Imagine".....
Imagine if every time I went out for a walk, beautiful women threw themselves at me, or Ferraris feel softly from the sky under parachutes. It's nice to imagine.
I like the tech, I do hold a bit, I've done well on it in the past, but LET'S NOT PRETEND IT'S ALL ROSY.
More than likely no RNS tomorrow, given that the buying is driven by one of the biggest shysters on AIM.
@Earl / Ben Naceur / AC - what a silly question. Will I consider TRAC to be a bad investment decision "if Amazon does a shipping deal". It's like asking if I'd put on shorts and a teeshirt and go for a walk. Right now I'm in S/E ENngland and it's cold AF. So of course it's a bad risk/reward profile.
This background doth not a suitable risk/reward profile make.
Ben Naceur / A C / Earl .....
Do you feel no shame? You know as well as I do and anyone else who researches the company that they need financing.
Is good, if you put it in a pharmaceutical context. Very quickly we will find ourselves in the throes of commercial licensing, I think. I'm a capitalist. I am happy for Charles to be richly rewarded when we are successful.
@daringinvestor have you heard from your friend Bapodra Investments of late? I miss his insights.
Thanks all :)
Sorry if this is a stupid question but where are you seeing that, Semaphore? I can only see MSC names on that link.
/ fantastic entry point!
This has to be a great place to be at the moment.
"Screeeeeeeeeeee!!!"
