RWD, what you are describing is a company in the midst of a cyclical shift, most of these points I think are valid at this snapshot in time but things can change quickly.

Last few years have been unprecedented in terms of global upheaval very hard for any company to plan ahead, no doubt there have been excessive costs at S4 but would investors be questioning these if things were still roaring, same with acquisitions which now look lofty in hindsight (write downs).

As mentioned, the comparison between THG and S4 share registers only draws comments between the two companies hence the reason for dropping it from future posts.

I'll continue to monitor at least until end of 2025 but for now happy with actions taken by management to right the ship.

Its not for two reasons, the main one being it suggests holders have no option other than to roll into one or other losing their original investment, when in actual fact they are being granted additional shares at no monetary cost.

Secondly, it builds on the deluge of misinformation which helps no one.

That's not rolling though Crafty as you still have your original shares.

RWD, the bit I disagree on is how much influence each CEO has on the share price, be that SMS doing multiple interviews on YouTube or MM moaning on Linkedin.

Both shares have a core of loyal founder holders together with a nucleus of funds that hold firm come what may, outside of that is the bit I am interested in which are those buying and selling (for whatever reason).

This is the section which holds my focus as it influences the day to day movements of both companies, not what the CEO writes or posts, thats just how posters perceive what is happening rather than actual reality, same on both stocks.

Think of it this way, we had months and months of speculation that shorts were driving the price down or criticism of SMS when the whole time Vanguard were selling down their main fund, my posts being the only one to highlight this.

GoCPI, you are misunderstanding the content of my post, focus is on how similar the funds are between both companies, not the merits of each investment case
