I don't think its going to be years away before spending improves tech wise, things in the tech sector are moving at incredible speed which will almost certainly change the investment profile of Ai related CAPEX.

One cannot escape the cacophony of media warnings of an Ai bubble, its everywhere and should this prove correct will signal the end of hype mode at least until the next cycle comes around..

On top of this the US economy is in dire straights and yet to fully reflect the impact of tariffs or government job cuts, this is enough imo to see some serious loosening of monetary policy ..

No, it states in the TR1 Greenvale are a UK issuer..

Had a quick look through both Kroger and Ocados AR, neither mention in detail holdings so none the wiser.

I would have thought the Greenvale holding was a block purchase at least the latter half, the threshold for UK holders is 3%, 5.69% is way over this which would have required a notification sooner.

Speculative, but could the drop have been caused by Kroger wishing to sell, if that's now that's out the way we might see a rise?

You could be right, its a while since they made the initial purchase with a lot of announcements in between, AR probably has a more up top date picture of current holdings - below is market screener which on the whole tend to be fairly accurate.

Looks very close to Krogers holding of 47,700,000, if correct that would help explain how they bought a lump without moving the market.

I suspect S4 team know this also but cannot really come out and say it publicly as these are also our (S4) clients..

One to watch out for on the legal contract drafting side is Harvey Ai, its a start-up so not yet listed but the CEO has taken the unusual step of mounting a defence on LinkedIn, the main gist from what I can gather is the actual number of active users and opposed to accounts that signed up.

Its one thing to use a contract template and another to ask Ai to draft it from the off, something that sounds enormously risky to me..

How long before online vendors pull books and other materials generated with Ai..

I think a lot of peoples reaction to the Deloitte article is to say, well save yourself some money and use part of the $440k to get your own Ai and do it yourself, why not?

That makes sense right, but if you follow that argument back we just eliminate everyone in the chain apart from end users, those with an actual need rather than offering a service like Deloitte or S4, but that hasn't happened and for good reason (see earlier posts as too numerous to list)..

Instead companies like Deloitte and S4 are harnessing Ai tools to augment (that's a great word isn't it..) their offering, not replace it, big difference imo to what the media are saying..

This is why I think we will see a resurgence at some point for companies equipped with both the skills and knowledge to use such tools..

Here's a great user example of the limitations of Ai in the real world resulting in a partial client refund.

The argument here is the client is paying for Deliottes expertise in this field, not to substitute with Ai which has then churned out a bunch of errors.

His suggestion is by firing workers that Ai has replaced the company should then employ people to fact check the Ai output..this is not a one off, its happening throughout Ai deployments to varying degrees..

Those are very subjective valuations though, if they lose what remains of their business model.

We had something similar way back with the digital revolution on music, Napster took on the music industry in much the same way but with no plan b.

There has to be a plan b otherwise it makes no sense..
