Facility: Plastics to hydrogen facility
Overview: UK first facility that will take 25 tonnes of unrecyclable plastics each day and use them to produce hydrogen and electricity. The hydrogen can then be used to power buses, HGVS and eventually cars.
Status: Consented

INFRASTRUCTURE WORKS AT PROTOS
The next phase of infrastructure works
at Protos are on track. By the end of June,
we hope to have finished the first phase
of ground establishment for new roads on
the estate.
The majority of the piling works have now been
completed with only a small amount of further
piling planned in late summer/early Autumn for
up to three weeks.

utilisation and storage
(CCUS) demonstrator
project at the Ince
Biomass facility at Protos

OTHER LOCATIONS - UK

- PHE already has a qualified pipeline of 30+ UK sites where DMG units may be deployed. Management estimates gasification of all UK waste plastic currently collected, would support 500 x 25 tpd DMG units (& DMG can also gasify other waste types).

- Collaboration contract with Peel Environmental to develop a minimum of 10 further sites in the UK for DMG facilities, in addition to the project at Protos 12/8/2019

- Expressions of interest from 12+ site owners who wish to establish DMG's on their sites + currently collaborating on detailed site operational requirements, delivery programs, and framework contracts for 6 client sites in the UK 15/2/2019

- Collaboration agreement for demo plus first 5 commercial systems in UK 5/6/2017
