If they had a clue or really wanted to delay then flights from China would’ve been stopped in Jan or Feb ... as opposed to not at all. Same goes for Italy, same goes for events ... they would also have educated people as opposed to lying to us.

They would also have been prepared or preparing weeks ago ... as opposed to begging for ventilators one twitter today at the last minute.

you got that the wrong way round ... kind of. The Uk government have done sweet FA to delay the spread of the virus and flatten the curve. The opposite in fact, they rolled out the red carpet for this thing and gave it extra incentives to come and do business in the UK. They are either massively incompetent or massively complicit.

It's the people who have to take responsibility and help to delay it ... socially isolate and self isolate as much as possible and help the elderly where possible.... Unfortunately most people don't give a flying fck and can't be bothered. "Just the flu" ... and "it's just hype" have been and still is the prevailing attitude.

The point of it is not for idiots to read it for 3 months but do zero actual research and then come on asking people to explain everything for them. If you don't know how to research a company you are considering investing in then this is the last place you should be even if you are for real... which I doubt.

US Emergency declaration and Trump speech lifted the markets and oil by the looks of it.

not sure we are there yet to buy FTSE shares as US, EU and Uk are in for a shock yet ... depends if markets are way ahead of the curve with it priced in. Unlikely.

China on the other hand... went off the scale aggressive and disciplined to deal with the virus like no western country can remotely hope to ... and they appear to be getting the machine back in motion.
