I believe Cam's taking a break to focus on other stuff... which is always healthy.
NCCL looking strong ... had to laugh at the chart swing trader on twitter who said he sold at 6.8 yesterday saying he'll buy back lower as the algos will stop it going over 7... like algos are busy hitting NCCL :))
profit is profit ... I can't be bothered as its a £500 punt in the SIPP that can sit there for as long as it takes, not worth banking a few bob.
That said... I did take £800 at first but sold £300 for a bit of profit.... true story, for a joke I almost sold 277777 to make it look like you'd sold within a few mins :))) ... Cam thought it amusing ;)
Hope no one got too spanked on the Winx news.
NCCL looking perky ... suspect some big buys in the background which could bode well. Long time coming.
Timed my SHG re-entry well... 30% up in a week but quite an odd volume surge off the bell on no news today and 20% up & holding it so far. Very, very unusual there, no ramps, no noise, no surge in gold.... I wonder if its a bit leaky as they are owed nearly half their mcap in VAT by the Tanz gov and hinted recently ...
From final results 28th Feb '19...
"We welcome the announcement last week from Barrick Gold Corporation that they have made progress in their discussions with the government of Tanzania. We remain confident that a positive resolution regarding VAT refunds will follow."
"The Company's VAT receivable amounted to US$21.8 million at the end of the year (2018)."
I took a clout on UOG on the same drill ... but less than 10% so came off best of the bunch due to their pf.
I once had 10m INFA... wouldn't want 10 now tbh ;))... but good luck, you never know.
Got back into SHG today as got no gold exposure at the mo ... had a nice 40% run there a few months ago mid market carnage. I think it only went down after great results last week due to the City Financial thing as they had 26m to offload... seems they dropped it to facilitate some share shifting with a 22m 'sell'... but turns out a new insti went straight to 9% then 12% and now its on the move again.
balman ... I like HZM in the same way and almost took some sub 2p before the recent rise... but I think this sudden HZM opportunity on a flash 15% drop is more to do with City Financial going into admin and selling off a load of stocks recently, and intensely on a few yesterday (inc HZM), through forced redemptions.
Could well be presenting some golden opportunities and well worth some time looking into I think ... you can see what they were holding at end Oct 18 here from page 20-25ish ...

Some interesting names on there that correlate to recent downward pressure from mystery sellers... now we know why.
yes,... price action been odd on NCCL for what seems like ages now. I sold a bunch at 6.8 as decided I was overexposed for a relatively binary play, despite confidence they will get the binding JDA over the line... at the time I thought I was selling cheap but its not been back there for ages.
Surprised its not closer to 10p at this stage... especially after an RNS confirming JDA is on and priority with all concerned now.
That said... it's still not news with anything concrete in it. Let's see what Hanno has to say on the podcast.
