Well that is good for you but there will be a lot of shareholders whom have a breakeven at much higher prices including the major shareholder, Tosca. Like I have said previously I wouldn't be surprised if they trump the Sycamore bid with Ray. With regards to this scenario they would have to buy back approximately 110m shares. They could continue the turnaround plan for a few years and then re-list at a much higher price.

Sadan - It wasn't that long ago that you said you would be happy with 125. You must be more than happy that they are 129 at the moment.
They will be worth more than 200 when they have a turnover over 500m and an operating margin over 10% which is easily achievable in the near term.
Luxury brands have a premium. There isn't one here. This is undervalued and the price has been pushed down for a takeover.

It shouldn't take too much to get the revenue over £500m in the next few years and an operating margin over 10% which makes the current share price look very cheap. Posters have mentioned bids between 140 -160 and I very much doubt the bod would recommend shareholders to accept such a lowball offer. I doubt they would accept anything lower than 175 for starters.

Any offer which comes in from Sycamore is likely to be trumped by Tosca. This is a shot across the bow's for Tosca. As far as they are concerned this is probably the best time for picking up Ted at possibly below 200. If they don't another company will. Why this didn't finish over 140 is questionable. No doubt hedge funds are keeping it down in order for a lower bid price. It will be interesting to see if Tosca up their holding to 30%... Hughes is named the rottweiler, lets see if he bites...

I doubt Tosca will want to sell out at a loss and they obviously still value Ted after picking up another 1% in the last few weeks. Their average I would have thought is probably around 170 or more. Liberum have a 225p target. So I reckon it will be between these two figures for starters. It's going to be an interesting few weeks.

I don't blame you hxu. Gem have promised but haven't delivered. I think there are better opportunities elsewhere too. I have been banging on about buybacks for years and they haven't done anything. For Clifford to say that the company is grossly undervalued is a bit rich considering every time he gets bonus shares he sells them. From my perspective this is run for the directors and the Government of Lesotho and I think I'm not alone with my thoughts considering where the share price is. I think I may start to bail too but will probably wait until they go xd. If Clifford and the rest of the bod think they are cheap maybe they should get their cheque books out.

Let's not forget the last broker note issued by Libernum a few weeks ago of 225. Obviously they were not put off by the recent low price. It will be interesting to see what they have to say on the matter.

If the bod of M&S were on the ball they would be in the park. There is currently a disparity between the people who shop for food and people who shop for clothes. Taking over Ted would bridge that gap. I doubt it will happen as M&S aren't forward thinking enough.

Hedge funds only have to disclose positions over 0.5 to the public. There will be many under this which have facilitated in keeping the price down.

The FCA should investigate yesterday's share trades for starters as the volume was way over the daily trend. I wouldn't be surprised if it was insider hedge funds buying back...

Forget yesterday's price. This has been shorted and kept down. Wake up to the shenanigans... This is worth north of 200 all day.

This is being kept down by Voleon. They have increased their short to 0.6%. It seems a rather strange time to increase it considering Tosca have increased their holding. Perhaps they are being used to hold the price down for a takeover.
