The Americans think bigger is better. It took a small team mainly just one man, Alan Turing to crack the enigma code. Just imagine if his department was a company like Dark and was shorted by spivs we would all be speaking German today and many races and religions would have been wiped out. So sometimes it's not just about how much you spend on R&D but the quality of staff you have. Dark has some of the brightest people in the country working for them.
Dark has great patents which the Americans want, it's as simple as that. They are just playing a very dirty game.

Perhaps it would have been better for qcm to have contacted DARK directly but they didn't. It is plain and clear to see they released this paper of guff to discredit DARK for their own financial gain. Qcm are the ones playing games and everybody can see.
In fact I would hazard to guess that they issued their findings to other hedge funds before DARK.

Numis have reiterated their 520 target today. They must be happy with the news. They will probably increase it next time.

QCM are down to 0.84% now.
I think they realise they have been beaten. As one broker pointed out that QCM had a swing and missed. The farcical report was not just dismissed by Dark but the FT, brokers and investors.

Who funds QCM?

I would substitute brave for astute. I did pick up quite a few but it doesn't stop me feeling compassion and sorrow for those that sold on the back of a flimsy report full of guff.

Think of the poor shareholders who sold as a result of QCM's scaremongering. Another question to ask if they or any of their affiliates post on bulletin boards like this one for example.
I note they have decreased their short again. At least they still have a few to buy back. I wonder if they will be able to do that below 300!

With regards to nonsense, that's clearly what the city think of QCM's report.

He is just trying to wind you up PI so just ignore it. He is probably peed off that DARK went up today. The short attack hasn't worked in their favour. We could get a really good short squeeze any day now.

Agree PI - The shorts are screwed. They were relying on that report to help their cause but it hasn't. The only way is up as you say the BOD have played a clever game. If Dark go in for the kill and buy back a lot in one day imagine the rise.

In my view it goes a bloody long way if on some days you purchase less than 30,000 shares. How long have you been shorting the NASDAQ, Is it eleven or twelve years?

I bought more than that yesterday. With regards to shorts, they will feel nervous with results coming up soon and the mere fact that Dark have available funds to buy back shares is no ordinary situation. Throw in a potential offer and the odds for share price weakness is limited. The report of guff and discombobulation has been dispatched to the stands. The odds are not in their favour.

500 is still below the targets set by Numis and Berenberg. I hope the spivs who shorted this get their just desserts. The tactics used here is nothing short of a witch hunt. The mere fact that qcm NEGLECTED to contact Dark whilst preparing their drivel and guff just goes to show what sort of an outfit they are. Shoot first and ask questions later.
If anyone is interested they should contact AIFMD and put in a complaint. This action taken by them has been done to cheapen the price for a takeover or for thier own financial gain.

I agree EasiWynns - Apologies as the rant was not meant for you. They aren't your average shorter. I think you could probably say the same thing about the organisation whom fund them too.
I think we will have a much better idea of how things are progressing on the 8th March. Investors should do their own due diligence and stick by it. I do however feel for shareholders whom sold due to the so called report.

Do you know whom funds QCM or MW? Perhaps you should look into it. That would make very interesting reading, perhaps a 70 page report should be done.
It seems that the majority of posters on here want Dark to fail or at the very least the price to fall. I wonder why... Your transparent Propaganda may work on individuals with a few thousand shares but that's hardly going to make much of a dent. Face the music shorters, you have been outplayed by a far superior intelligence. If QCM were so certain of their conviction then why are they selling? If you live by the sword then be prepared to die by it.
