I agree Dave this is due a rebound. A market cap of less than £35m is surprising given the fact they are due some big stones which could be worth that and more.

Interesting to see Barclays have reduced their target to 30. I wonder whom they are working for. Perhaps the management want a MBO on the cheap.
If GEMD discover some large ones what pe ratio are they going for, 1-2.

A reassuring update in the current retail environment. I would have thought a few broker upgrades are in process on the back of this update. I personally think Naked should be trading at a much higher price.

It's good to see a director purchase even though a small one.
I can see this easily going over 200. I like the ethos of the company and the wines are very good. I order two or three cases from them a month and I can recommend them.
Talking of wine, Chapel Down are very good too. Their sparkling wines hit the spot and are certainly a great alternative to Champagne. The Kits Coty Chardonnay is decent too. Quite Burgundian in style and at around £30 a bottle is very reasonable.

MW have reduced again. As of the 21st they are on 0.89%. They have been reducing their short on THG too, perhaps they have come to the realisation that a bid could drop here at anytime.

What are the odds of Naked being taken over in the next 12 months. A market cap of below £80m with sales over £350m. This is just another case of hedge fund manipulation.
I like the principle behind the business and have been buying of late. This is way too oversold in my opinion.

Who do UK pension contributors work for, Companies in Asia and the US?
Pension contributors would be far better off if the money that they pay in is reinvested in the very companies they work for.
Perhaps the work ethic would improve and the likelihood of striking would reduce if they knew their contributions were reinvested in UK businesses.
What the UK needs is investment and a little self belief. If things are so bad over here why are US companies buying UK companies at such a rate? It's because they are cheap. The main reason they are cheap is because UK pension funds have reduced their holdings to circa 2%. This is pitiful.

I think other BOD's should take Mathew Mouldings (THG's Ceo) lead and come together and put pressure on the LSE, FCA and the government for changes otherwise there will be dire consequences for the city and hence the country. Mathew Moulding plainly gives his view which many share but unfortunately are reluctant to speak out about. There needs to be reforms and quickly if London intends on keeping a reverential existence. The tactics used by hedge funds are untrustworthy and questionable at best yet they arrogantly bully companies by whatever means possible to tarnish a companies reputation for their own benefit. This should not be allowed.
Another major problem is that UK pension funds now only invest circa 2% into the UK stock market when in years gone by the figure was in the 50's. The government should enforce UK pension funds to invest a minimum amount of 30% into the UK market. Not only would this give London listings valuations that would mirror those overseas but would encourage UK companies to remain listed in London and attract foreign companies alike. It would ensure companies have a fluid stream of capital and enable them to expand and successively increase employment.
In my view Lynch should keep his holding if he so desires. If HP feel they overpaid for a company they have to suffer the consequences. They won't be the first and they wont be the last. Marconi shareholders got buggered buying a lot of overpriced junk in the US and look what happened to them at least HP are still trading.

I think the whole issue absolutely stinks. Anne Sacoolas killed a British citizen whilst driving her car on the wrong side of the road. She should of been extradited from the US but she wasn't. Her trial at the old bailey was through a video link. Why can they do this with Lynch? Or is it a case that big business is more important than a boys life!
I think HP look stupid. They paid the price and if there due diligence was lacking they have nobody to blame apart from themselves.

The UK government are weak, they should have told them to foxtrot. How much did the UK taxpayer have to bail out the banks which were sold dubious US sub prime loans. How many of those crooked bankers were extradited over here. It just works one way and thats their's. Talk about leading us down the garden path and the UK just blindly follow like good little puppies.

George Soros was a founding backer of Marshall Wace. We know he has a hatred for the UK. He was responsible for Black Wednesday where he took on the Bank of England forcing them to raise the interest rates to 15%. How many people lost their homes and business's because of this mans action.
The UK government do nothing because they are given political donations. The hedge funds also dominate business media for their own means. The government and the FCA should have some backbone. It's refreshing to see THG's Ceo hit out about the situation. One can only hope that other's join in...

ITV obviously rate DARK as the most important company in the UK to seek specialist advice in this field. Mike Beck is an ex intelligence officer at GCHQ and he knows what he is talking about.
Perhaps if the UK government want to take this seriously surely they should be protecting the UK's most important cyber security firm from hedge funds with backing from dubious sources. I think it would be only fair for the hedge funds to give a list of their investors as for some of them it may be in their interest to do as much damage as possible.

I don't think it's a simple case of Mr Market doesn't like Dark. It's more a case of a particular predator likes DARK and is using hedge funds to keep the price down for a length of time to coerce large shareholders into accepting a lower offer. Same principle can be seen at THG. Unfortunately it happens all the time but the FCA are to lacklustre to do anything about it.

It's a pity they didn't buy more back cheaper but having said that having this amount of cash left will deter new short positions one would have thought unless they are in the business to take a hiding.

So what you are saying is that you wouldn't want to be out of KOD this year, never mind the weekend.

MW most probably realise that there is not much downside in DARK especially considering the last update and the fact that DARK have plenty of cash left to purchase more shares. The risk reward firmly sits with the longs. Don't forget the share price would go over 500 if any mention of takeover were to hit the news.

Well Jeffries obviously liked it to raise their target price substantially from 425 to 500 and the majority of other brokers having targets at even higher prices.
Even MW's last movement was to reduce their short position although marginally.
