I have to confess that I've never been on a luxury cruise.
That aside I admire the beauty and understand the attraction as cruise ships regularly arrive in my part of the world/ Asia (Bali)

Similar happened with TW 19th March, except in a higher direction.
When investigated by experienced traders, the trade wasn't in an auction and was a finger trade mistake that was immediately canceled >>> might be a similar situation.

Hi TP,
Many investors have different trading strategies.
If an investor has 100,000 Lloyds shares @ average 40p.
Sells 50,000 @ 48p.
The remaining Lloyds 50,000 shares are average 32p.
If Lloyds shares reach 64p, then an investor could sell another 25,000 and the remaining 25,000 shares are FREE.
Likewise, if it's 1 million shares the last 250k are FREE.

Each to their own investing strategy .

RNS 3rd March, in addition, but subject to continual review the board intends to split the payment of surplus capital 110p per share previously anticipated to be paid late March/early April in two payments.
The first payment of surplus capital will be paid in August 2021 ..... 55p and a second payment December 2021.....55p. Further details of the board's ongoing assessment of its Capital Return Program will be provided as part of Persimmon's normal market updates.

From memory, a div of 55p will be confirmed around August and 55p in December.

This was announced with the last div 125p.

"We are told the Financial reset is to occur in 2025" Who knows when, what I do know is the Chinese Government had their largest-ever meeting several months ago which lasted weeks.
Western media are a disgrace as China prepares to match the USA with GDP 2028 or earlier. China also estimates that its GDP will be double the USA by 2035.
China has in the public domain said that "Health Care" will be larger than Germany's estimated GDP by 2050.

One serious Super Power is emerging who already flexes muscle in the South China Sea with Luzon, the largest island in the North Philipines being contested and Taiwan?
Always sensible to take some Lloyds profits or time the exit route.
In my opinion only, China's buying gold for a reason.

Buybacks for an INCOME INVESTOR ....... are as much use as a chocolate fire guard.

I understand that Lloyds shares are worth a few more pennies because of buybacks but let me decide what to do with my divs, after all, many shares can sharply retrace giving opportunities to reinvest my divs OR in the majority of income investors cases...pay the bills/enjoy life with a sense of achievement.

Each to their own, a yield of 4/5pc @ today's price will attract income investors.
Looking forward to spending Lloyds divs & not staring at 2/3p higher per share.

Credit Suisse raises Lloyds price target to 58p from (54p)

The price has risen in 7 of the last 10 days and is up 10.91% over the past 2 weeks.

Volume fell on the last day and in total 137 million shares were bought and sold.
The stock lies in the upper part of a strong rising trend. A break up at the top trend line of 47p normally indicates a stronger rate of rising.

Given the current short-term trend, analysts expect the stock to rise 19.95% during the next three months and a 90% probability, hold a price between 52p and 56p at the end of this 3 month period >>>> dyor.

Opportunities always arise most months, not necessarily in the same sector but never less, a comment from Yelland or an orchestrated spin from the MSM can certainly move the needle.
