You are finally right about one thing though, I certainly won't be buying any more yet.

27p was the price when the market valued it at c35p.

The investor is not a charity. If you think institutional Investors pay a 60% premium to save a company I'm really not sure what to say.

They could buy the whole company for <50m in a few months the way things are going.

10-15 % discount to market, guaranteed.

Unless they've been completely scared off by the incompetence of Peter dropping the share price before it's even happened.

There is zero chance that this agreement goes ahead at such a premium to the market price, the investor is not a charity.
Unless there is something major in due diligence unexpected I think it will still go ahead, the question is at how much discount to market price and how much more equity being given away.
Argo have put themselves in a position where all of the negotiating power is with the strategic investor, if this doesn't go through Argo are in big big trouble.

I still want to know what the hell happened with epic, pluto and what the f Argo labs do.

The question is whether the Placee knew how dire the financial situation was already or found out in the RNS.

The market values Argo at these levels because of the placing, it's hard to see the Placee not wanting at least market or less even with the benefits Hex has mentioned.

Really don't understand the timing of that announcement.

They're certainly not going to pay a premium and the share price has fallen as a direct result of the announcement which hasn't even been agreed.

Why on earth would they announce the placing before it's been signed?
May as well issue another RNS today saying still not signed but we've had to change the price to 20p.

I thought Nesis seemed a lot more positive about Q3 Vs the update he gave for Q2. The results for H2 shouldn't have been a surprise based on that update so I find the drop here overdone. Based on Nesis' tone I look forward to Q3 update.

FTSE announced on 11th March that Poly would be removed from their indices effective 21st March.
That would be a more interesting period to analyse.

The question wasn't whether the dividend will be paid or whether the company will cancel the dividend.

The question assumes that the dividend is paid and how that would be treated by their broker "if they are with brokers who have suspended the buy function."

They can't stop you receiving the dividend, it's yours!
They just won't allow you to reinvest it in Poly I imagine, so you'll get cash.

Keep the shares, invest the dividend elsewhere probably.

The firms will be deleted from all FTSE Russell indices “in conjunction with the forthcoming March 2022 index reviews, at zero value.” This change will be effective from the open on 21 March 2022.

From market open Monday Poly is no longer a constituent of these indices. Trackers would have sold out Friday latest.
