I don't think he ever said this company shouldn't be worth any more than 5p following Helios sale. I think he merely stated that's where he was prepared to buy given the risk/reward that he saw, at that time.

The truth is that it's impossible to put a fair value on this company at the moment because so much information is still missing. Q4 results, balance sheet, what are the hosting fees, intel or any other commitments. But none of that matters when there is momentum in the share.

By my calculations we should be worth at least as much as we were this time last year plus inflation. That was 82p plus at least 15% inflation. Easy 94p IMHO.

What's your breakdown of the 20m PI, hard to calculate without knowing hosting fees, what have you assumed for that and at what BTC price?

The point is PI nobody knows the numbers to determine how long this has bought them. It could be 6 months, it could be 12 months or it could be more. But nobody in the public domain, including yourself actually knows, unless you want to provide detailed analysis to prove otherwise?

@Bitcoinedd - Argo had so much cash that they did an extremely charitable thing and sold brand new machines for c20% of the cost - lols.

I am getting tempted to add down at these levels, as a bit of a punt, but do have a problem with Peter being in charge.
I have just watched his video update again, and he mentions the LOI. He says that they had an obligation to update the market with this, but fails to acknowledge that the details disclosed, ie the intended price, led a collapse in SP. There is no way that that level of detail needed to be announced and in doing so it immediately meant the deal was never going to go ahead. I wonder if we will ever find out who the strategic investor was? Can't help feeling that someone played Peter and Argo there.
That was a massive failing by the management team and it's disappointing that it's not been acknowledged.

It is getting tempting but a change in management would really sway me, too many mistakes with this lot, and too much confusion with the updates we do get.

Outlook for 2022 and Beyond

· Mining operations scheduled to begin at Helios in May 2022

· Expect to achieve 5.5 EH/s of hashrate capacity by the end of 2022. This increase is driven by the installation of the Bitmain S19J Pro machines and the deployment of custom-designed mining machines utilizing Intel's state-of-the-art ASIC Blockscale chips

· Additional capital spending to complete Helios Phase 1 is expected to be in the range of £93 million to £100 million ($125 million to $135 million), which will be financed primarily through debt and proceeds from selling a portion of our Bitcoin mined each month (non-dilutive to existing Argo shareholders)

· Beyond 2022, hashrate is expected to grow significantly to more than 20 EH/s over the next few years as the additional 600 MW of capacity at Helios is fully developed
