toomuchshine be careful of too much optimism. This company has raised funding before and there was no rocketing of the share price. Do your research rather than relying on wishful thinking.

ALLNothing - are you invested in this one? It seems to me that those that are currently sitting on a loss are the ones that see the potential in this and blindly hoping for a full recovery. Unfortunately there seems to be absolutely no evidence at the moment that there will be a recovery. FYI my investment is 93% down so it'll need to be a phoenix from the flames to get to break even for me.

The only good thing about that RNS is that fact there was at least an RNS to provide an update. Under Simon Cole we were left waiting and wondering what was going on. This new board at least have the decency to keep share holders informed so we can make a decision whether to ditch or hang on. The end of June really will be the make or break point but I'm not convinced I'll still be an investor by that point. I've given up hoping for a profit out of this, I'm just looking at cutting my losses at the best time.

Yet again this board of full of people expecting an easy multi. People are buying therefore something must be about to happen. Check the boards from 2 months ago and even 2 years ago and people were saying the same thing.
This is a company on the verge of collapse unless they get an injection of cash which may mean survival but will also mean dilution. There may be small short term gains to be made here but long term this is a high risk investment.

I received a Tweet reply from Simon saying "It's not what I would have wanted. This has been hard work and I don't expect any thanks" Oh really. Putting the company on its knees was hard work was it, well done you!! Oh Thank you Simon, thank you very much for all your hard work.

What are people's hopes for this one? I'm a recent investor showing a small profit at today's price but not sure yet what to flag my exit point at. This has come down from well over £1 about 2 years ago but what's the expectation of a new high if things go well?

Well that's it, every single shareholder is at a loss now. The only choice is to get out and cut your losses or stick with it hope that new funding comes and recuses the business. Personally I've cut my losses, very substantial losses. I didn't see this coming at all. I thought we'd turned the corner and it was only up from here but in true 7Digital style they can turn anything in to a negative. Simon Cole has a lot to answer for but he's just walked away and probably sitting pretty in his big house having breakfast with his kids.

My guess will be that it'll come after the new CEO is in place. That way if there is any bad news they can very politely pass the blame but promise to do better. If there is any good news they can pass on any credit and promise to build on it further. It's a win-win for them.

The next announcement to be made will be along the lines of "I'm afraid Simon left all the details of the new contract wins in his desk drawer then took the key with him when he left. We've left a voicemail asking him to get in touch but it could be weeks before he lets us know how to get the information"

7Digital is to have a new CEO on 1st April after Simon Cole stepped down and John Aalbers stepped in to the role. Aalbers was previously at Arts Alliance Media. Apparently this change was planned last year.

The market has reactive with a small increase in SP so hopefully this will mark a positive step in 7Digital's way forward.

Ah ok. So what has she been up to since Amino. I thought that was her most recent employment.

Where have you seen a good track record? She's joined us from a company whos share price has dropped from 210p down to 80p in the last 6 months. I've no idea why the price dropped and what her involvement in the company was but it's not the best indicator of success.

The RNS released by 7Digital states "The final quarter of the year saw several contract wins with US based technology platforms, major record labels and broadcasters, the details of which are subject to commercial confidentiality especially in the light of the upcoming CES event in Las Vegas"

That's "several contract wins" of which only 1 has been made public so far and even that one had no real detail or financials attached to it.

Where are these contract announcements Mr Cole? CES has been and gone. What's the excuse for not announcing them now? Speak to us Mr Cole.

Define 'soon'. Do you have an information source or is this just pure speculation?

So the Chief Commercial Officer has jumped ship. Is this a sign that the company is going in the wrong direction and he's getting out before they sink? There's certainly nothing positive to see in the RNS.
The brief optimism from the contract win is gone now.

There seems to be a lot of people jumping ship this morning. Presumably those that bought in under 1p a few weeks ago. Very short term view in my opinion as this is only going up further in the next few weeks as further contract announcements are made. All the sales seem to be very low value though so clearly not serious investors. I definitely see this as a strong buy right now.

I agree, all shares have ups and downs but when a company has done nothing but decline for a number of years it's foolish to be overly confident and EXPECT a return to previous levels. Friday may have seen a large percentage increase in SP following the RNS but remember it was an increase of only 0.5p. Small margins like that can be lost again very quickly and has already been partially lost today. All investors are hoping for good news, good financials and announcement of positive contract wins but until I see them in black and white and I see a share price that puts me back in to profit then I'll remain cautious and keep a close eye on it.

If I was going to pile in to this one (which I'm not) then I'd be waiting for it to go back below 1p again. The previous RNS said an announcement for contract wins is coming but it didn't say when. I suspect we'll see a slow but steady decline in the SP while we wait. It'll only take a few days of small drops to get us back to 1p.
I hope I'm wrong but the one thing you can be sure of with 7Digital is that things take longer than you'd hope for.

It looks like the worst might be over and 2019 could finally be the year of progress and profitability not just for the company but for long term share holders as well. I still have a fair way to go to break even point but this morning has me feeling a lot more confident. The next couple of RNS with contract announcements and 2018 results can only result in further increases to the share price. My only question now is where do I set my target price and my exit strategy. I'm in no rush to sell so happy to see what comes over the next few months.
