LONDON, May 9 (Reuters) - British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has named former Prime Minister Gordon Brown as his special envoy on global finance, a statement on Saturday from Starmer's office said.
"The PM has committed to boosting the country’s security and resilience. In this role, Gordon Brown will advise on how global finance cooperation can help to achieve this," the statement said. (Reporting by Sarah Young; Editing by Toby Chopra)
