EXECUTIVE CHANGES: Portmeirion names new CEO; Henry Boot CEO to leave

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced this week and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Henry Boot PLC - Sheffield, England-based construction and property development business - Says Chief Executive Tim Roberts is to step down after six years in the role and from the board later this year. Edward Hutchinson, interim managing director of Stonebridge Homes, will be appointed as Tim's successor. A further update confirming the timing of these changes will be made in due course.

Greencoat Renewables PLC - Dublin-based renewable energy infrastructure investor - Says following the conclusion of annual general meeting Bernard Byrne has been formally appointed as chair.

Novacyt SA - biotechnology group focused on clinical diagnostics - Announces that Joanne Mason is stepping down as chief scientific officer and a member of the board with immediate effect, to pursue other business opportunities.

Forgent PLC - London-based provider of syngas technology and engineering services for converting waste into sustainable energy and biofuels, formerly Eqtec PLC - Announces a number of board changes as part of ongoing efforts to streamline its cost base evolve its governance structure. Confirms the appointment of Gerry Madden as finance director, with immediate effect. Gerry is already the chief financial officer and company secretary. Non-Executive Chair David Palumbo will step down on June 30 with Brian Cole, independent non-executive director, assuming the role of interim independent non-executive chair from July 1 until a successor is found.

Portmeirion Group PLC - Stoke-on-Trent, England-based ceramics maker and retailer of homeware brands - Announces the appointment of Michael Scheepers as chief executive officer. After nine years with the group, Mike Raybould has decided to step down as CEO and as a director on Monday. Scheepers appointment is expected to take effect next week, subject to satisfactory completion of due diligence. Scheepers joined Portmeirion as group brand and commercial director last December as part of succession plans.
