(Alliance News) - Rank Group PLC on Thursday said it has hired Chew Seong Aun as non-executive director effective immediately, replacing Tang Hong Cheong who announced his retirement on Tuesday.
Chew Seong Aun is currently group chief financial officer and executive director of Hong Kong-based investment holding company Guoco Group Ltd and has previously served as CFO at Malaysia-based Hong Leong Financial Group Berhad and chair at its subsidiary Hong Leong Asset Management Berhad.
Chair Alex Thursby said: "I am pleased to welcome Seong Aun to the Rank board. Seong Aun brings a wealth of financial and commercial experience to the board and will be able to further enhance the good communication established between Rank and its major shareholder."
Shares in the Maidenhead-based gambling company were down 2.4% at 146.40 pence in London on Thursday.
