Jupiter Fund Management names former Santander UK CEO Bostock as chair

Wed, 19th Nov 2025 11:51

(Alliance News) - Jupiter Fund Management PLC on Wednesday named Nathan Bostock, former chief executive officer of Santander UK PLC, as chair.

London-based Jupiter is an active, "high conviction" asset manager.

Bostock will succeed David Cruickshank as chair from the start of April 2026.

Jupiter said Bostock will join the board as a non-executive director and chair designate at the beginning of March.

Bostock was CEO of Santander UK from 2014 to 2022. He previously held senior executive finance and risk roles at Royal Bank of Scotland PLC.

He is currently a non-executive director on the board of Lloyds Banking Group PLC and chair of Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets PLC and Lloyds Bank GmbH, which are both subsidiaries within the wider group.

He is also a non-executive director of Centrica PLC.

"We undertook a thorough market search for the role, and we were particularly impressed by the broad skills and experience that Nathan will contribute to the board," said Suzy Neubert, Jupiter's senior independent director who led the chair succession process.

"We value the perspective he has gained from a number of both executive and non-executive leadership roles, his experience in the UK listed company environment and his learnings from operating across a number of different sectors within financial services."

Bostock said: "Jupiter has made material strategic progress over recent years and, with a more favourable environment for both UK-listed companies and for truly active investment management, is ideally placed to succeed in the future."

Shares in Jupiter Fund Management were up 0.4% at 144.00 pence on Wednesday morning in London.
