IN BRIEF: Darktrace shareholders to sell USD225 million worth

Darktrace PLC - Cambridge-based cybersecurity firm - Shareholders KKR Dark Aggregator LP, Summit DT CLN Holdings 4 and Balderton Capital SFI SLP plan to sell around USD225 million in shares through a placing to institutional investors.

The price per share and total of shares issued through the placing will be determined at the close of the bookbuilding process. Darktrace will not receive any proceeds from the placing.

Jefferies, Berenberg and KKR Capital Markets will act as joint global coordinators and bookrunners on the placing. Needham and Piper Sandler will act just as bookrunners.

In August, these shareholders along with Hoxton Ventures Fund I Opportunities III LP had sold 23.2 million shares for 620 pence each, totalling GBP143.5 million.

Current stock price: 820.00 pence

Year-to-date change: up from 250.00p initial public offering price in April
