FTSE 100 movers: Burberry higher on new director, Johnson Matthey hit by downgrade

Shares in Burberry advanced after the British fashion house appointed Fabiola Arredondo as a non-executive director. Arredondo, once named by The Wall Street Journal as the most influential businesswoman in Europe, has previously held senior roles at Yahoo, the BBC and Bertelsmann.Temporary power and temperature control group Aggreko was boosted on a day where the dollar reached a 12-year high against the euro. Aggreko has a substantial US business, with the Americas accounting for nearly a half of group trading profit in 2014.Dixons Carphone was trading higher as it launched the world's first Google shop in Currys PC World on Tottenham Court Road, driving sales of its growing hardware range. Further "shop in shop" concessions are to be opened in Fulham and Thurrock in the coming weeks.IAG was boosted by the continued decline of Brent crude prices, driving duel costs lower.Comments from Exane BNP Paribas were hitting the share price of Johnson Matthey as it lowered its stance on the chemicals outfit from 'outperform' to 'neutral', saying it sees lower medium-term structural growth and growing risks.Antofagasta was in the red, despite an upgraded price target from JP Morgan, up to 725p from 720p, as sentiment continues to be dampened by social unrest and court cases affecting its flagship Los Pelambres copper project in Chile.
