EXECUTIVE CHANGES: TP's interim CEO; National Grid taps Meggitt chief

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced on Tuesday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

TP Group PLC - Hampshire, England-based consulting, software and engineering company - Hires David Lindsay as interim chief executive officer, replacing Phil Cartmell, who stepped down at the end of last month. TP notes that Lindsay has held a number of CEO and chief financial officer roles, including as acting CEO of Industrial Control Services PLC, a services provider to the energy industry, and most recently CFO of EDM Group Ltd, which was acquired by document management firm Restore PLC in April. Lindsay joins as interim CEO immediately and will join the board once an on-boarding process is complete.

National Grid PLC - London-based electricity and gas network operator - Hires Meggitt PLC Chief Executive Tony Wood as non-executive director, starting September 1. Also hires Martha Wyrsch as non-executive director. National Grid, which has operations in both the US and UK, notes that Wyrsch has worked across a range of energy businesses in the US, including helping to develop the business of Vestas Wind Systems AS there.

Arix Bioscience PLC - venture capital focused on biotech firms - Says Marck Chin rejoins investment team as managing director, effective immediately. New York-based Chin was investment director at Arix from 2016 to 2020. He replaces Christian Schetter as MD, with Schetter leaving on August 31. John Cassidy, a principal, also will leave, though on July 31. Finance Director Marcus Karia will leave later in the year "to pursue other opportunities", having served for five years, but will continue until a successor is found. "The board will work closely with Mark Chin to rebuild the company's investment team, adding new talent to deploy investment capital and manage the company's existing portfolio" Arix says.

Bakkavor Group PLC - London-based fresh prepared food - Hires Sanjeevan Bala as independent non-executive director, starting August 1. Bala is chief data & AI officer at television broadcaster ITV PLC.
