EXECUTIVE CHANGES: Studio Retail, K3 Business Tech appoint new CEOs

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced on Tuesday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Studio Retail Group PLC - Accrington, Lancashire-based "digital-first value retailer" previously known as Findel - Appoints Paul Kendrick as chief executive officer with effect on Friday, replacing retiring Phil Maudsley. It is part of a structured development and succession plan implemented over the past two years.

K3 Business Technology Group PLC - Manchester-based enterprise software firm - Appoints Marco Vergani as chief executive officer with immediate effect. He was most recently chief operating officer at luxury-focused e-commerce personalisation firm Qubit.

Sterling Energy PLC - oil and gas company with exploration asset in Somaliland - Appoints Jeffrey MacDonald as non-executive chair, and Gavin Wilson as a non-executive director, replacing Michael Kroupeev, Leo Koot and Ilya Belyaev. MacDonald was a former managing director with private equity firm First Reserve. Prior to that he was CEO of Caledonia Oil & Gas Ltd.

Goldplat PLC - Africa-focused gold producer - Chief Operating Officer Hansie van Vreden to resign from role with effect on May 31, as he plans to join an unnamed specialist mining services firm as CEO. Goldplat does not plan to seek a replacement as COO, however the group plans to appoint a non-main board group financial director.

Bigblu Broadband PLC - Bicester, England-based broadband services provider - Appoints Sean Royce as chief executive officer of the group's subsidiary Quickline Communications Ltd with effect on May 4. Has been part of communications provider KCOM Group for 18 years, most recently as managing director of KCOM's Hull & East Yorkshire business.

Permanent TSB Group Holdings PLC - Dublin-based personal and small business bank - Appoints Celine Fitzgerald and Anne Bradley as non-executive directors with immediate effect. Fitzgerald was previously head of Group IT delivery/digital development at International Airline Group until 2020.

Gamma Communications PLC - London-based cloud communication services provider - Non-Executive Director Andrew Stone to step down from role with effect at the next AGM which will be held on May 20.

Ascential PLC - London-based business-to-business media and events firm - Appoints Joanne Harris as non-executive director with effect on April 1. Was formerly chief commercial officer at Staples Inc since 2018.

Jarvis Securities PLC - the investment management company - Appoints Stephen Middleton as non-executive director with effect from April 1, while Greame McAusland resigns from the same role on the same date.
