LONDON (Alliance News) - Blockchain Worldwide PLC on Tuesday said it continues to make "good progress" as it looks for an acquisition in the blockchain market.
The company, which was formed to buy a firm in the blockchain industry, listed in September last year as Stapleton Capital PLC, changing its name in January.
For the period between to the end of 2017 from February 15, Blockchain posted a loss of GBP7,501, entirely made up of general & administrative expenses.
Current cash and cash equivalents as at December's end was GBP1.4 million.
Chairman Jon Hale said: "Since the revision in investment strategy and name change, Blockchain has been analysing a number of tremendously exciting opportunities.
"We continue to make good progress towards a potentially game changing deal within the blockchain space and will update the market as soon as we are able."
Shares were up 12% on Tuesday at 8.50 pence each.
