LONDON (Alliance News) - US investment firm Fortress has entered the race to acquire the retail business of Majestic Wine PLC, Sky News reported on Monday.
Sky News, citing City sources, said Fortress has hired the Royal Bank of Canada to advise on its interest in the business.
Fortress is but one of several parties interested in acquiring the company's store estate, including private equity firm OpCapita, who is interested in buying Majestic Wine's store network for at least GBP100 million, the news agency reported.
