(Alliance News) - Green technology investment firm Verditek PLC said Friday it raised GBP600,000 from a premium-priced share placing in order to fund its ongoing growth plans.
On Thursday, Verditek proposed to raise up to GBP650,000 through a share placing at 4.5 pence each - a 25% premium to the 3.60p per share closing price on Wednesday.
Shares in Verditek were 1.1% higher at 4.10p in London on Friday, giving it a market capitalisation of GBP8.3 million.
On Friday, Verditek said it placed 13.3 million shares at the placing price to raise GBP600,000. A further GBP20,000 is expected to be raised by a further 444,444 shares issue through a direct subscription.
Following admission of the subscription shares - expected on Tuesday - Verditek will have 215.5 million shares outstanding.
