LONDON (Alliance News) - Utility consultancy Utilitywise PLC on Wednesday said it has been granted a patent in Europe for its Edd:e energy monitoring system.
The patent in Europe follows the one granted for the system in the US last year. The system allows customers to analyse their energy use to allow them to make decision on how to save energy.
"We are incredibly proud to secure this European patent because it demonstrates Edd:e provides real-world energy savings and offers a unique tool for the marketplace," said Utilitywise Chief Executive Geoff Thompson.
