Exhibitions operator Tarsus said it expected an "excellent" outcome to 2013 with trading in the first half having been in line with expectations. The group, which has a market cap of around £205m, has more than 80 events and websites and 25 publications and said forward bookings for this year were tracking 11% ahead of 2012. It said its recycling and environment and waste event REW held in Istanbul earlier this month had produced revenues ahead of last year and sales for its biggest events -- the Dubai Airshow and Labelexpo Europe --- were "well ahead" of their previous cycle.Tarsus Group's revenues are heavily weighted to the second half of the year because of the timing of its big exhibitions. Its results for the first six months of 2013 are expected to be published on July 31st.TB
