(Alliance News) - TomCo Energy PLC on Monday said the field test programme at its Holliday A block in the US state of Utah is running to schedule.
The exploration and development company said drilling works have been completed and TurboShale Inc's radio frequency transmitters have been operating since last Friday.
"I'm am very pleased with the progress of the field test," said Chief Executive John Potte. "The process moving forward will be to gradually increase the temperature of the formation and we look forward to keeping shareholders updated as the field test progresses."
TomCo Energy shares were trading 7.0% higher on Monday in London at 5.99 pence each.
