(Alliance News) - FTSE 250-listed interdealer broker TP ICAP PLC on Friday said it has added Mark Hemsley to its board as a non-executive director, effective March 16.
Hemsley, TP said, has a had a "distinguished career" in the capital markets industry. He was formerly president of Cboe Europe, the European arm of Cboe Global Markets Inc, a stock exchange operator based in Chicago.
Hemsley retired from the role effective February.
TP Chair Richard Berliand said: "We are very pleased to welcome Mark to the board of the company. He brings substantial experience from his executive career and will be able to draw on his extensive markets and infrastructure experience in his role on the board."
Shares in the company were 1.9% lower at 374.50 pence each in London on Friday afternoon.
