German software testing firm SQS Software Quality systems has won a series of new contracts worth a total of €22m. One contract, to provide test management, automation and functionality testing to a large European logistics firm, is worth €10m over the next two years, and is one of SQS's largest contract wins ever. The company is in the process of establishing its first operations in France to allow it to provide another contract, worth €5m, to the French arm of a global insurance provider. Contracts have also been secured with four leading retail companies worth a total of €3.3m, including one with a global UK supermarket chain. Rudolf van Megen, Chief Executive Officer of SQS, said: "The ever expanding scope and scale of the contracts we are bidding on, and winning, is testament to the success of our strategic focus on the provision of pure play independent testing and managed services."The share price was up 4.45% to 199.50p at 12:57.
