Regional REIT Ltd - real estate investment trust focused on UK offices outside London - Collects 95% of all rent due in the second quarter by Tuesday, including a 2.2% adjustment for monthly rent and 1.6% for agreed collection plans. Says 97% of first quarter rent now collected. Notes 96% of all rent collected in the year to date, compared to 85% in the same period in 2020.
Stephen Inglis, chief executive of London & Scottish Property Investment Management, the asset manager of Regional REIT, says: "We are pleased to again provide shareholders with a positive rent collection update. In-line with our expectations total rents received to date for [the second quarter of] 2021 amounted to 94.7% of rents invoiced and we anticipate collecting the vast majority of the outstanding balance in due course."
