HOUSTON, Jan 22 (Reuters) - Sulfur recovery unit No. 7 atRoyal Dutch Shell Plc's 327,000 barrel per dayjoint-venture refinery in Deer Park, Texas, was shut onWednesday afternoon following a fire, according to sourcesfamiliar with operations at the refinery.
A Shell spokeswoman said a fire had been extinguished onWednesday in one of its units at the refinery, which is a jointventure between Shell and Petroleos Mexicanos, Mexico's nationaloil company.
