* Norway gas exports at 309 mcm/day * Langeled flows to UK at 47 mcm/day OSLO, March 26 (Reuters) - Norwegian gas exports surged onWednesday from the previous day's average as an outage at theNyhamna processing plant ended, data from gas system operatorGassco showed. The plant, which processes gas from Royal Dutch Shell's Ormen Lange field, had its production cut by 38 millioncubic metres (mcm) per day on Tuesday. Gassco has removed information about the outage from itswebsite, indicating it had ended. However, flows through theLangeled pipeline, which carries gas from Nyhamna to Britain, were well below full capacity. "Langeled is nominated to flow 47 mcm, which remains about20 mcm lower than would be expected when it functions normallyat this time of the year," said Oliver Sanderson, a gas marketanalyst at Thomson Reuters Point Carbon. "This indicates that flows are still being impacted byyesterday's outage at Nyhamna, likely due to a lag effect onpipeline flows," he added. As gas has to travel more than 1,000 km (620 miles) fromNyhamna to a receiving terminal in Britain, it takes hours tofill the pipe fully after an outage. The following table shows Norwegian pipeline gas flowsmeasured in mcm/day compared with the previous day's closinglevel: Destination Real time Pvs session Change (mcm) Britain 79 59 20 Germany & Netherlands 136 133 3 France 49 49 0 Belgium 45 43 2 Total 309 284 25 NOTE: Pipeline gas export figures are based on gas fed into thesystem at a certain time and calculated as a daily average.Levels can vary throughout the day as producers adjust theamount of gas they export, according to changing nominations, ororders, from customers.
