HOUSTON, March 8 (Reuters) - Motiva Enterprises was restarting the smallest crude distillation unit at its603,000 barrel per day (bpd) Port Arthur, Texas, refinery onTuesday, Gulf Coast market sources said on Tuesday.
The 80,000 bpd CDU, called VPS-2, was shut for a briefperiod of maintenance at the tail end of to the two-monthoverhaul of the refinery's second largest crude unit, the195,000 bpd VPS-4, which restarted last week, according to thesources.
Motiva is preparing to shut the refinery's 50,000 bpd catfeed hydrotreater by early next week for a planned four-weekoverhaul, the sources said. (Reporting by Erwin Seba)
