LONDON (Alliance News) - Engineering consultant Ricardo PLC on Wednesday said its Performance Products unit has won a contract to supply an advanced dual clutch transmission system for an unnamed new luxury supercar.
Ricardo said the contract is worth GBP35.0 million and the supercar will enter production later in 2016.
"We are grateful to our customer for awarding this significant production order for the supply of this advanced DCT," said Mark Barge, managing director of Ricardo Performance Products.
Ricardo shares were up 1.9% to 744.00 pence.
