Phoenix Copper Ltd - base and precious metals explorer in US state of Idaho - Posts similar loss in 2021 to the year before, narrowing slightly to USD969,250 from USD971,850 in 2020. The loss per share decreases to USD0.90 from USD1.66, due to the number of shares in issue nearly doubling. Phoenix Copper does not yet produce revenue from its mineral exploration and development activities. The company says it has a positive outlook. "The metals markets continue to perform well, with copper recently climbing through an all-time high of USD5.00 per pound, zinc at a 15-year high of USD1.71 per pound, cobalt climbing back towards 2018 record prices, and gold and silver remaining robust above USD1,900 and USD24.50, respectively," says Chief Executive Officer Ryan McDermott.
