Thu, 08th Apr 2010 08:32

British Columbia based aggregates company Pan Pacific has reported strong demand for its products from its Quadling quarry after the new by-pass road for hauling aggregates from the site was opened on 26 March."Immediate sales have been generated and there is strong demand for the products that have been processed and sitting on the quarry floor," the company said in a statement. The company said on 29 March that it had 150,000 tonnes of processed material ready for shipping at the site. Pan Pacific expects sales will top 1,000 tonnes per day in the first two months of operation and that this will build up to 2,000 tonnes per day after a few months. The selling of the material will provide the funds for the company's planned purchase of crushing equipment for Quadling. The new equipment will allow the company to produce the more valuable specification aggregates and offer a full range of product to customers.
