Polar Capital Holdings PLC - investment manager - Assets under management at March 31 year end up 71% to GBP20.9 billion from GBP12.2 billion. Pretax profit jumps 49% to GBP75.9 million from GBP50.8 million. Net income up 37% to GBP194.4 million from GBP141.4 million. Annual payout amounts to 40 pence per share, up 21% from 33p.
