(Alliance News) - Picton Property Income Ltd on Thursday said it has hired Richard Jones as a non-executive director effective from September 1.
The London-based property investor said Jones will become chair of the property valuation committee from October 1, succeeding Roger Lewis who will retire from the board on September 30.
Picton said Jones is a highly experienced real estate professional with over 30 years of experience and was UK Managing Director on Aviva PLC's Investors' Global Real Estate board where he sat on their Global Real Estate Investment Committee until 2014.
"The board is delighted to announce Richard's appointment, which follows a thorough search process. We look forward to working with him and benefiting from the extensive knowledge and experience that he brings to this role. At the same time, I would like to thank Roger for all that he has contributed to the company during his tenure," said Picton Property Chair Nicholas Thompson.
The stock closed 1.9% higher at 66.25 pence each on Thursday in London.
