AIM WINNERS & LOSERS: Osirium wins contracts; musicMagpie flies lower

(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers on AIM in London on Wednesday.

AIM - WINNERS

Osirium Technologies PLC, up 18% at 5.60 pence, 12-month range 4.50p-34.00p. The cybersecurity firm says it has continued to see new business wins, bringing the total number of new customers won in January and February 2022 to nine. Four of the contracts are of a greater value than any deal signed in 2021, it says.

W Resources PLC, up 9.6% at 2.58p, 12-month range 2.13p-23.90p. The tungsten, tin and gold mining and exploring company says BlackRock Financial Management Inc has agreed to increase its existing loan facility by an additional USD5.5 million. Says additional funding will in part be used to fund some items of capital expenditure at the La Parrilla mine. This includes additional plant and equipment, completion of the crushed ore stockpile, improved laboratories and improved buildings for both finished goods.

AIM - LOSERS

musicMagpie PLC down 35% at 106.00p, 12-month range 106.00p-202.50p. Shares in the used-technology reseller hit 12-month low as it swings to annual loss in maiden year as a public company. For financial year to November 30, swings to pretax loss of GBP14.8 million from GBP7.0 million profit year before as revenue falls to GBP145.5 million from GBP153.4 million. Looking ahead, musicMagpie sees strong sales in start of financial 2022 but has since moderated. It had listed in April with an initial public offering price of 193.00p.
