(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers on AIM in London on Tuesday.

AIM - WINNERS

N4 Pharma PLC, up 10% at 2.20 pence, 12-month range 1.50p-8.69p. The company announces two successful in vitro tests of Nuvec when loaded with two small interfering siRNA probes. siRNA can prevent cells from communicating, and could potentially prevent cancer cells from replicating. After announcing in September that it would focus on developing multiple loaded siRNA on Nuvec, N4 says it has now completed in vitro testing, which shows both probes were able to "significantly silence" their respective targets.

AIM - LOSERS

Watkin Jones PLC, down 33% at 101.69p, 12-month range 97.30p-282.08p. It expects to miss full-year profit expectations. The London-based student accommodation developer and manager says that in the first half to September 30, cost inflation was mitigated by increasing asset values, however in the second half it sees some pricing and margin "softness" on sales. It adds that two forward sales which were expected to close in September have been impacted by recent market volatility, and are now expected to go through in financial year 2023.

Allergy Therapeutics PLC, down 11% at 17.00p, 12-month range 15.25p-40.50p. It pauses production at the Freeman facility, part of its Worthing, UK manufacturing site. Allergy Therapeutics says that the facility has been closed to accelerate ongoing site improvements.
