EXECUTIVE CHANGES: STV hires Rufus Radcliffe from ITV to be CEO

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced on Thursday and Friday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

STV Group PLC - Glasgow-based television broadcaster and content producer - Hires Rufus Radcliffe from larger UK peer ITV PLC to be chief executive officer, joining the STV board on November 1. At ITV, Radcliffe was managing director of Streaming, Interactive & Data, leaving in April. Prior to that, Radcliffe was ITV's chief marketing officer, running all direct-to-consumer activities, including the marketing launch of video streaming platform BritBox. Radcliffe also worked at Channel 4. At STV, he replaces Simon Pitts, who departure was announced back in March. STV also hires Colin Jones as an independent non-executive director, joining on September 2. Jones was chief operating officer & CFO at publisher and events organiser Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC.

Nexteq PLC - Cambridge, England-based technology solutions for industrial customers - Promotes Duncan Faithfull to CEO, effective immediately. Faithfull had been chief commercial officer & Gaming business leader. He joined the company in 2020 to lead the Quixant division. Quixant PLC changed its name to Nexteq PLC in May of last year. Faithfull replaces Jon Jayal, who also steps down as a board member, though he will remain as a consultant until the end of 2024. Earlier this month, Francis Small stepped down as Nexteq chair, and Deputy Chair Nick Jarmany became interim chair.

Synectics PLC - Sheffield, England-based security and surveillance systems - Reports the "sudden death" of CEO Paul Webb, who joined Synectics in 2004 and became CEO in 2015. He was "instrumental in shaping the company's strategic direction and driving its ongoing financial progress", Synectics says. CFO Amanda Larnder becomes interim CEO, effective immediately.

Permanent TSB Group Holdings PLC - Dublin-based lender - Chief Financial Officer Nicola O'Brien will leave in the coming months to take on a new role. As a result, she steps down from the board immediately. O'Brien was promoted to CFO and joined the board in August 2022. Permanent TSB provides no information on plans to replace her.

Crossword Cybersecurity PLC - London-based cybersecurity solutions - Hires Anthony Clayden of Strategic Finance Director Ltd to be its part-time head of Finance, replacing Rose Clark, who departed the CFO post earlier this month, having only joined in April. The new role is not a board position. "The company will continue to review and explore its options regarding the longer-term CFO position and any announcement in this regard will be made at the appropriate time," it says.

Computacenter PLC - Hatfield, England-based computer technology and services provider - Hires Adam Walker to be senior independent director, joining the board on Friday and replacing Ros Rivaz as senior director on September 30. Walker is a non-executive director of electronics retailer Currys PLC. As an executive, he was CFO of IHS Holding Ltd and of GKN PLC. He was finance director of Informa PLC and of National Express Group PLC.

London Security PLC - West Yorkshire, England-based manufacturer of fire protection products - Hires Andrew Kitchingman to be senior independent non-executive director, starting immediately. Kitchingman holds a similar position at Andrews Sykes Group PLC and is chair of Mpac Group PLC. He is an accountant who worked for several consultancy firms and City stockbrokers.

DG Innovate PLC - Caerphilly, Wales-based electric mobility and energy storage company - Non-Executive Chair Nick Tulloch and Non-Executive Director Peter Tierney step down from the board immediately in order to save costs. The board now will have seven members, four executive and three non-executive.
