LONDON (Alliance News) - Monitise PLC Thursday said it will provide a range of mobile banking services under a deal with the MoneyPass Network, which is operated by Elan Financial Services, a division of US Bank.
In a statement, Monitise said the services it will offer include balance checks and transfers, as well as more advanced services like mobile check deposit and cardholder-managed security controls.
"MoneyPass cardholders are looking for easy, straightforward ways to manage their money. Mobile is a critical channel to help meet this need," said Troy Cullen, President of Elan.
"Through our participating financial institutions, we want to give cardholders access to a premium mobile card services experience that is both easy to use and secure," Cullen added.
In addition to core mobile card services Monitise will enable mobile security and fraud alerts for cardholders of participating institutions to provide immediate notification when an account may be at risk.
Monitise shares were flat at 20.25 pence on Thursday.
