(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of updates by London-listed companies, issued on Thursday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

----------

Scotgems PLC - invests in small-cap companies in emerging markets - Following consultation with major shareholders, says it would be in the best interests of the company and shareholders to put forward formal proposals to shareholders for a members' voluntary liquidation. "Such proposals, if approved, would provide all shareholders with a full cash exit less costs," the firm says. Plans to instruct the investment manager to realise its investment portfolio in "an orderly manner", with the liquidation to depend on market conditions. Will convene a general meeting in due course.

----------

Eqtec PLC - Cork, Ireland-based gasification company focused on turning waste into sustainable energy - Wholly-owned subsidiary Deeside WTV Ltd reaches agreement with Logik Developments Ltd to extend the date for completing share purchase agreement, as outlined at the end of 2020, until August 31. "The FEED Study will focus on engineering optimisation, including addition of vanadium pentoxide by-product recovery circuit, with the aim of maintaining low capital and operating costs," the firm says. Plans to complete phase one in the fourth quarter, with subsequent phases to complete in the first quarter of 2023. "The work will focus on engineering optimisation opportunities with the aim of maintaining or even reducing the already low Tiris CapEx of USD74.8 million and will also seek to identify opportunities to reduce the OpEx of the project," says acting Chief Executive Officer Will Goodall.

----------

Adriatic Metals PLC - Vares silver project in Bosnia & Herzegovina and Raska zinc-silver project in Serbia - Says recent drilling at Rupice Northwest continues to intercept "thick, high-grade massive sulphide mineralisation updip" from previous intersections. Results include 30.9 metres at 851 grams per tonne silver equivalent, 27.4% zinc equivalent from drillhole BR-03-22. Says resource definition and in-fill drilling are progressing well, and targets an updated mineral resource estimate for the final quarter of the year. "The results so far strongly indicate the continuity and width of the mineralisation being at least similar to those initially discovered at Rupice during our campaign in 2017-2019," says Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director Paul Cronin.

"The expanded ground position together with the ongoing exploration activities in 2022 has only strengthened our view as to the overall prospectivity of Labola. We look forward to the initial assay results from the ongoing Labola drilling program, expected in the third quarter of 2022," says Managing Director Mark Bolton.
